About me
Swiss with Spanish roots, I came to medicine and psychiatry through family tradition and family inspiration.
I finished my medical studies at the University of Barcelona in 1998. My specialised training in Psychiatry, which I completed in Madrid, Barcelona and Hamburg, is based on cognitive-behavioural therapy, enriched with elements of psychodynamic and systemic therapy.
For 25 years I have worked as a physician in the field of Psychiatry in inpatient and outpatient settings, such as consultation psychiatry, acute and chronic Psychiatry, Emergency, both in Spain and in Germany and Switzerland.
From 2018 to 2024, I have worked as head physician at the renowned clinic Privatklinik Hohenegg (Zurich, Switzerland), where I have passionately and successfully combined clinical work with patients, individually as well as in groups (group therapy for psychosomatic patients).
I am 50 years old, I lead a full, conscious and meaningful life, and I am very grateful for all the people who love me, who enrich me and whom I can love and inspire. My life has not always been free of pain, and the human suffering I have experienced at times, has allowed me to deepen my understanding of the human experience and brought me closer to my fellow human beings.
I live happily with my partner in the Swiss Alps and have no children.
I have a humanistic background by academic and family tradition, and I am characterised by passion and reason and combine in my work the rational and intuitive thinking.

My work philosophy
I focus on trust, understanding and competence, along with conscious and transparent communication, so that a real relationship with social bonds can develop, combined with clarity about the current situation.
Together we formulate the goals and health-promoting measures.
Compensation
The cost per session is 500 CHF, which includes a 45-minute session, preparation and follow-up of the session.
If you are unable to attend, appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance, otherwise you will be charged.
